Five files to build before your next serious AI prompt

A clever prompt can produce one clever answer. A working business needs durable context.

The problem is not that AI knows too little. The problem is that it knows almost nothing about how your business makes decisions. Agents keep explaining themselves from scratch, then blame the machine when the answer drifts.

1. Who I am

Your role, market, credentials, specialties, responsibilities, and the boundaries you do not cross.

2. How I sound

Real examples of messages you would send, language you avoid, and the level of detail your clients expect.

3. Who I serve

Your market, client types, common questions, local language, and the situations that create urgency.

4. What I know

Approved sources, office procedures, service standards, brokerage rules, and facts that must be checked before use.

5. What I will not do

Privacy boundaries, fair-housing limits, legal and brokerage review points, and actions the machine may never take alone.

The first move

Build these five files before adding another subscription. Then use them on one repeating task for seven days. Measure corrections, time saved, and whether you actually used the result.
